i was working on this in painter, and when i started detailing it i realized it reminded me too much of the tree in disney's Pocahontas.
so, i've set it aside.

I like it! gives nice mood but I feel like you can push the background a lil more with different hues within the same value range maybe a lil darker in the BG too would push the foreground up more! I wanna see something in the eyes too for some reason! I wanna see more stuff keep it comin!!
